1940’s Weekend - Lytham 2025
Let’s go back in time, well in the fashion sense that is. The annual 1940’s weekend in Lytham came round again. This year blessed with great hot and sunny weather, really pleased there was a breeze coming off the coast. Certainly helped with the attendance to the event, in turn helped me obtain some great images of the scenes and people that certainly looked to be enjoying themselves.
Again, I went down the documentary route in taking my photos, showcasing wonderful colourful scenes together with the associated fashion of the 1940’s from the attendees of the event through the lens of my camera. There was also a strong presence of military vehicles with participants dressed in various uniforms.
A very enjoyable day l had indeed.
Just to note. As with all of my images, they are best viewed on a laptop, tablet or desktop computer to obtain the best viewing experience. Looking on a mobile phone is ok, but it’s not quite the same. Enjoy the images however way you view them.
