LYTHAM HALL CLASSIC CAR & PERFORMANCE SHOW 2025
A trip down memory lane. That’s what l get when going around an annual event like this. Spotting cars your dad used to have and memories associated which each one. Oh, have times changed.
Talking to the owners about their beloved vehicle, them telling stories of how many hours they put in to keep it top condition, the ever ending wrestle with finances to achieve that. Jostling whether the car gets the attention, or is family first. Choices. No doubt a few arguments along the way.
I tend to gravitate toward the 1960”s and 70”s vehicles. Why. My era really. Throw in the 1950’s, specially the American cars with their unique shapes that easily fill the frame. Not many in this particular show, hopefully more will make an appearance at other shows later in the year.
It was a difficult day for taking photos. With the sun high in the sky, beating down, which gave very harsh light and reflections off the highly polished metal surface’s, many images got binned straight away. Think l may need to invest in a polarised filter. It would certainly help with the reflections.
Well, enjoy the photos l ended up with, and of course the obligatory dog shot. You have to, haven’t you. Thanks for looking. Swipe away.
