The genre that encompasses numerous different genres within it. Everyone will have their own idea, view, on the subject of Street Photography. Mine, well, as you can see, decided to call Street Visions. Split into a number of folders to help differentiate the genres l like to photograph. Or is it just me being obsessed with organising images. It doesn’t help when l have no fixed type of genre. I’m forever trying alternative subjects, anything that helps with my shutter finger. With the likes of taking random photos of people on the street my least favoured. This, due to lack of confidence. I’m working at it. The more l do it, the least my anxiety gets. Using a smaller camera has helped. My full frame camera stays at home, has a rest, while i’m pounding the streets.

When it comes to looking through the photos within the people folder, they’re maybe a connection within the image. Sometimes humorous, word associated or a juxtaposition, which is rare for me, certainly not looking for it, its luck if l end up with one of those. My self confidence determines when l go out to do this type of Street Photography. I have spells where l go out a few times a week, then nothing for a month or so. Very erratic pattern.

Anyway, take a look, and don’t take it too seriously.
